We have visited Universe on numerous occasions and have left overly satisfied every time! It is a family owned and operated restaurant that offers the best of authentic Greek and Montreal style food! Their breakfast menu has a variety of different options to choose from, with them all being very delicious! The service is fantastic, and the owners, who are from Montreal, are incredibly welcoming and want to make your experience wonderful!

Service was great, server was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, this was the best part. Other than the fresh fruit, most food tasted overly processed. My partner had a grilled cheese with one slice of semi melted processed cheese. I had custard with my fruit that tasted nothing like any custard I've ever had. Maybe the dinners/pizzas are better, but the breakfast was not all that.

Universe is my go to anytime they’re open (which is later than most). I have gluten and dairy issues, they always take care with the notes I leave and the food is always fresh and fabulous. I know on a Friday night when I have to be so careful where I order from that Universe always comes through and that is from a couple years ordering from them on a regular basis, from breakfast to dinner or later night. They truly care about the quality of food they put out and I appreciate that so much. Not many places do! Thank you.

We went there for a late breakfast today. Very nice and clean place. Payed just $20 for a huge and awesome breakfast.

I ordered delivery through their website, the food took quite awhile and when it arrived it was soggy and cold. Which I understand may not be the restaurant's fault. But I was pretty disappointed, considering most of the reviews for this restaurant were really good. I'll try their food in the actual restaurant next time

The service here is absolutely amazing. Both the manager and the staff was so nice and kind. The portion in this restaurant was big, and the food was fantastic. I would definitely come again next time when I visit Calgary. Highly recommend the pumpkin milk shake, which is made from the owner's own recipe!
